There is practically no service here, no barley tea - just a note for traditional Asians because we normally and culturally expect it, especially from a Korean restaurant. Older generations demand it. Their LA Kalbi is way too thick to be an LA cut kalbi. Or even as kalbi bbq. The marinade was good, actually made the way I prefer, but the thick cut made it eat and taste like a roast rather than any kalbi I've ever had and is much more suitable for something like kalbi-jjim. The proper, thinner cut just has a different taste once all the sugars in that marinade have been properly caramelized. This would not be easily accepted by the Korean community there. This should be called Charlotte Kalbi or something else but it isn't an LA Kalbi. That false expectation made this dish extremely disappointing. This is the Asian version of passing off Texas bbq sauce as a Carolina bbq sauce, but the food was still good. It's like being overseas for a long time and finally getting something that resembles a cheeseburger but isn't really a cheeseburger, even though it was tasty. Although as traditionally flavored as it is, the broth for their Sundubu, which is giant size btw, isn't as carefully balanced as I'd normally expect from a Korean restaurant in CA because culturally, Koreans are extremely serious and meticulous about their broths. But the meat in it was more like a roast beef, which is far from anything I'm used to, and was actually very good. So overall, the food was really good, you just get a very American version of the Korean dining experience. Other than being misled and disappointed, this could have been a 5 star review because the food was actually very good and original. Real Koreans will curse this place for being so stingy with their panchan though. Even I am not used to such poor "service". I can't imagine bringing my LA Korean wife's grandma here, her family would probably make her divorce me soon after while her ancestors roll in their graves. That was not a joke.

OMG!!! Not sure how I'm just finding out that this place exists down the street from my home??!! Anyhow, it's AMAZING! They have my fav, hot stone bibimbap...it's fantastic. And those sweet chili wings are WOWZERS. Definitely the best wings I've had in this area. They will be seeing more of us, we will be regulars. Service is outstanding as well!

This is a hidden gem in the village of Mint Hill. The staff was very nice, answered questions and were supper efficient. They have plenty of menu choices and every thing had a very distinct taste and flavor. Portions were pretty heavy and each table got an assortment of add ins served with meals. We ordered the steamed dumplings for an app. Sizzling stone pot with marinated beef (3 meat options) and it was delicious as well as the fried pork with sweet and sour sauce. Can't wait to come back.
